Product Description

Tan Brown 3 Seater Sofa – NEWBURY

Description
The stylish Newbury Suite is proudly manufactured in the UK and built to last. With its solid frame and contemporary design, it brings a modern yet timeless look to your living room.

We’ve retailed this model for over four years and it continues to receive outstanding feedback from customers. High back cushions with built-in lumbar support provide maximum comfort for both head and back, making the Newbury as supportive as it is attractive.

Covering
Upholstered in eco-friendly leather gel fabric (70% polyester, 30% polyurethane), this material is designed with microscopic perforations that allow air to circulate, keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter.

This is not cheap bonded leather or plastic faux leather — it’s a strong, durable covering that has passed a stringent 45,000 rub-and-pull test to meet UK standards. The finish mimics the natural grain of leather while offering the warmth and softness of fabric: supple, thick, and built to last.

Recliner
Each piece is fitted with a high-quality manual recliner mechanism from Leggett & Platt, one of the leading names in recliner systems. Backed by a 5-year warranty, the mechanism is easy to use: simply pull the lever, lean back, and let the backrest glide away from the wall as the footrest rises. For full lay-flat recline, allow around 4” clearance from the wall.

Frame
Built with a combination of thick hardwood and plywood, the Newbury frame is exceptionally sturdy and is covered by a 2-year guarantee.

Seat Cushions
The seats offer a medium-to-firm sit that softens slightly with use without losing shape. With 7″ thick pocket-sprung cushions, combined with 6″ high-density foam and deep fibre-filled backs, the suite is designed for comfort as well as durability. The addition of rubber webbing and zig-zag springs ensures excellent suspension and lasting support.

Sectional Design
For ease of delivery, each sofa and chair is supplied in sections that are assembled in your chosen ground-floor room. This design makes access through narrow doorways hassle-free.

Caring for your product

Sofas and chairs are not only vulnerable to surface stains, dust, and dirt, but grime can become deeply embedded into the fibres, too. Even if you can’t see the dirt, it’s there, so for cleanliness and hygiene’s sake, cleaning upholstery on a regular basis is very important – but it doesn’t have to be difficult.
If your sofas and chairs have removable covers, upholstery cleaning is simple: put them through the washing machine, or pop them down to the dry cleaners – just follow the instructions on the label. If your covers are not removable, however, you’ll need some suitable upholstery cleaning products and easy methods to tackle the stains and dirt. Here’s how to clean upholstery swiftly and effectively – leaving you time for more relaxing activities.
Fabric
Using soapy water and a microfiber cloth, gently wipe your fabric sofa with the solution, allowing it to soak into the fabric and tackle the dirt beneath the surface. You only want to use a very small amount of water – don’t saturate the material.
Leather
Please ensure you clean and condition your leather regularly to avoid cracking or peeling, your leather can give you many, many years of use if you look after it in the correct way, always moisturise the wearing surfaces regular with a hand lotion or professional leather cleaning kit which can be obtained from SC Furniture.
Please note: Some medications can affect the leather colouring, please ask if you are unsure.
